Alinity Divine

Alinity is featured in the lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch viewer from California filed a civil lawsuit demanding damages in the amount of $25 million from Twitch for exposing them to "overly explicit and sexually explicit content of female streamers" during their use of the site. Based on court documents that were obtained through Dexerto the plaintiff who previously sued Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, presented the formal complaint to court on June 15 seeking a lawsuit. Twitch itself was issued an official summons on the 19th of June. Estavillo is one of the men who, according to his complaint in Santa Clara Superior Court of California submitted on June 15 has been diagnosed with obsessive/compulsive issues, sexual addiction and other illnesses that require him to use the internet exclusively to keep himself entertained. In addition, the complaint claims Twitch causes these problems. The complaint goes on to identify a variety of female streamers who it believes "continues to show viewers who are just looking to catch players playing games on Twitch, but instead get confronted by sexually addictive materials and content on a consistent and regular basis daily." Alinity is not included. The complaint demands each of these streamers to be permanently banned from Twitch for violating the TOS. Additionally, it wants to pay an amount of $25 million as compensation that will "be divided evenly among the complainant, all other Twitch Turbo subscribers, as well as any remaining funds."
