Vinita Nair

She started at the station in July 2004 and reported on many topics, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. In that role she hosted live stories and briefs for ABC's digital channel. Nair co-anchored World News Now on ABC beginning on September 17th, 2008. through Feb. 18, 2011, and America This Morning. On both of these programs, Nair was partnered initially by Jeremy Hubbard. Later she co-anchored the show with Rob Nelson. The 17th of February 2011 Nair revealed that Friday the 18th of February, would be her final evening on air on World News Now. This would also be her last day with ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. The edition on February 18, World News Now paid tribute to Nair in all three segments.
